should i turn light off for a day or move

im geting new windows in my room and my plants r by the one window in a closet that they r redoing they are 3 week flowering u think it will shock them into turning hermie if i shut light off for that time or should i move to the basement for a day

If you think it has a chance of shocking it, why take the chance. I would move it into the basement under less light before I let it sit in the dark for a day. Just keep it on it's regular schedule, or near it if you can. Mother nature never goes black for a day, so I wouldn't do it to your plants if you can avoid it.

Plus I doubt it will have to be in there the whole day. Got a buddy who does windows and if they are being put in just your room then it shouldn't take them no more than a few hours. So, if they are there in the morning, lets' say, 8-9AM then they should be out by lunch time. Then you can commence to putting them back in there with the new window, with the clean glass, and probably more lighting.
