Seattle Hempfest is held the third weekend in August. The next Seattle Hempfest is August 15-16, 2009 in Seattle, WA. The event spans three Seattle waterfront parks: Elliott Bay Park (North Entrance), Myrtle Edwards Park, and Olympic Sculpture Park (South Entrance).

Event hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission to Seattle Hempfest is Free.

What a farce.Hempfest is an advertising event for all the gray marketeers and people that depend on prohibition.

If the were worth a fucking shit they would hold the event specifically to get initiatives on the ballot.I don't trust Norml to do anuthing but fight against legalization and legal medical marijuana.

Our state sucks,Only Oregon has the guts to tell the feds to stick it.They will be the first state to do what is right.

The MJ foods are great I love the THC lollipopps...... Multipul FREE concerts...not to mention the 100,000s of like minded people who do attend the FREE fest.

If they charged an admittance fee.... I could see your point but its all FREE to see and experience

These big get togethers are always about advertising products. Nothing wrong with that. I still have yet to make it to hempfest. If the weather cooperates I'm going this year. Looks like its a lot of fun. And thats what its supposed to be all about isn't it?

I will boycot this event until they hold it in june and have initiatives put out to sign.I could turn my head and cough at the advertising as long as they worked to get initiatives on the ballot.

Since many of the speakers are against initiatives and ending prohibition,I will continue to be critical of hempfest.

Dont know man....I'm not into busting threads with over bearing opinions....Shit I'm packing up the kids rolling up a 5-6 phaties and hitting the parks for some free entertainment....just as long as it isnt raining:hippy: I go for the people too...you meet and see alot of interesting/different people.

Its not like the people who have areas/booths at the fest get them for free the have to pay to advertise or sell items...friend of mine does tatoos (Sinners Tatoos) at the Fest cost them $4000 for the park's space rental fee for the 2 days of the fest
