Very hard water - need advice
I am new to hydroponics. I just got my ph and tds meters and when i tested the water from my house the PH was 8.5 and the PPM was 400 with no nutes added. Anything over 200 is very hard water correct? What can I do? I don't have the cash for a reverse osmosis filter right now. I know about adding magnesium to counter the calicum in the hard water, but is that all I can do?
Tommorow I am going to get some PH down and take care of that problem at least but I am stuck on the PPM problem.sdubya Reviewed by sdubya on . Very hard water - need advice I am new to hydroponics.
