Well... getting numb the day after smoking weed already happened with me several times... and i think it isnt a very unusual thing... after all, some strains of cannabis are used as painkillers, and getting numb seems to be just it, the painkilling effect of the weed.
So i think you really shouldnt worry about it. This effect decreases as your tolerance to weed increases.

The visual disturbances also seems to be a not-so-unusual effect of weed. Whenever i smoke too much my vision gets a bit weird next day.

Another important thing is that there are two very different kinds of weed.

Cannabis sativa gives you a "mind high", one gets energetic and the mind thinks a million of thoughts per second... but in large doses can cause anxiety, paranoia and anxiety attacks. Im pretty sure its this strain of weed you smoked when you had the pannic attack.

Cannabis indica gives you the "body stone", one gets very mellow, relaxed and even couchlocked. Its used for treating anxiety and as a painkiller. I think its the one you should smoke.

Cannabis is also very useful for treating migraines. Granny Stormcrow can tell you her story as soon as she read your post, so i would wait for reading her reply, as it can be very useful for you.
Coelho Reviewed by Coelho on . Strange Reaction the day after smoking weed. I'll give you some background on myself first. I used to smoke a lot like 7 years ago (in HIGH school) but I had to stop. I had a CRAZY panic attack after puffing and I went to the hospital and everything. Thing is, no one told me that I was having a panic attack and I felt like the doctors and nurses had somewhat made a joke of me being there because I smoked weed. So I quit for fear of having another (what I thought at the time) OD. Recently I started having panic attack symptoms without Rating: 5
