Seed question
There is also a difference between natures freezing nd being placed inside a freezer.
freezing will not damage your seed, however unfreezing will, your best bet is just to place your seed in an air tight container and put them somewhere cool, dark & DRY and just leave them untill you need them.rapid88 Reviewed by rapid88 on . Seed question Hey I just harvested my buds and I heard that in order to make the seeds fertile they should be frozen. Is there any truth to this or not?? It makes sense because they freeze in nature but what about a plant that has been grown indoors?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Do those chinese beetles hurt the plants any?? :) Rating: 5

cool, dark and dry is all that's needed for long term storage. i've kept mine in pill bottles inside containers in the back of the fridge for several years and still have good success with them and same for in desk drawers. freezing can burst the cells if not properly dried 1st and although many do store this way, it is generally advised against keeping them in the freezer. the c99's in the current grow pics are from seeds over 5 years old for instance and had 7 out of 8 germinate with 5 f's this round (these have been stored in the pill bottles in the fridge).
