Shortening light hoping to speed up the finishing process. I don't have all the time I would like to give them, so I'm trying to trick them, that's all. I have read theories about flowering time as a function of daily light, and they seem to point toward less light giving a quicker finish. I'm not sure if there is merit to it, but I don't have time to make 75 or 80 days on them.

Going back to the MH for the UV that's missing in the HPS. It's always been my understanding that trichromes are in part a defense mechanism against UV, so I want to make sure they put out as much as possible. I know the yield is good if I harvested today, so now I'm concentrating on getting every last bit of resin they have to offer.
irydyum Reviewed by irydyum on . Irydyum's White Widow Project Hey everyone. Just wanted to post some pics of my current grow, I'll try to keep it brief unless there is a question to answer. But a bit on the specs: Seeds from Greenhouse, WW femenized, didn't have that color coating on them though. 400w HPS and 400w metal halide, I am switching them out trying to get the best of both worlds. Used MH for first 2 weeks to limit stretch, switch to HPS for mid flower 3 weeks, then back to MH to finish em off. Using BioBizz All-Mix system, Biogrow, Rating: 5
