I use dolimte lime where there are pine and straw from the trees on the ground.. It neutralizes the acid in the soil..

Let's say that in my backyard I have a forest garden or a paradise garden or whatever you want to call it. Basically for two years I built up all the soil in my yard organically by doing things like sheet mulching and cover cropping and composting constantly. Nothing was planted except for the trees I wanted to get started quickly. Fast forward to present day and my yard is slowly becoming the paradise I dreamed of. The soil is rich, soft, and loamy all over. Rating: 5
