need help please advise
Hi all first time grower, have some outdoor ladies medi bud & 1024 grew them indoors to about 2 ft and then outside the pic is from one that is almost 4ft now. my worry is 2 things 1st, plant seems a little skinny I think and 2 as you can see NO side branching and the bottom 30 inches have no leaves any more a fellow grower told me he thinks that she needs air.... we have had quite a bit of rain this year, (best corn on the cob in 12-15 yrs) he says to aerate the top soil to help her get some o2 and that will help just wondering if anyone else has any input. thanks in advance for your help I have learned TONS on this site by just reading and searching!!
PS. I know she may not look 4 ft in the pic I took it uphill from her I'll try and get a better pic this weekend, stryker Reviewed by stryker on . need help please advise Hi all first time grower, have some outdoor ladies medi bud & 1024 grew them indoors to about 2 ft and then outside the pic is from one that is almost 4ft now. my worry is 2 things 1st, plant seems a little skinny I think and 2 as you can see NO side branching and the bottom 30 inches have no leaves any more a fellow grower told me he thinks that she needs air.... we have had quite a bit of rain this year, (best corn on the cob in 12-15 yrs) he says to aerate the top soil to help her get some Rating: 5

Looks like you've had a visit from the bunny bastards! You need to put a chicken wire cage around the bottom about 2 ft. high so they can't get to the plant. If worried about stealth, weave some weeds and greenery into the screening, or cover with debris.
I have to do this when growing outside (not pot!). Baby rabbits will try to eat everything, including the bark off newly planted baby trees. :wtf::wtf::wtf:

Still could be bunnies. I've seen them chew off a stem and just spit it out. Baby rabbits more prone to do this until they learn what to eat. Of course, could be wrong.
Hope you get it figured out. Good luck.

How many hours of direct sunlight do they receive per day?
What condition is the local soil in? (clay, loam, potting mix...?)
Is there adequate drainage so the roots won't rot?
Use care when disturbing the soil. Can easily break or expose roots.

I'm not an outdoor med grower, but the sudden shock of an overabundance of nutrients and changing enviornment, with limited light may be a tad much for her.
If you can wait till someone with outdoor skills comes by for help, I'd do so. (or ask in the outdoor growing forum)
