Power Plant
This lovely specimen of Power Plant was picked up at Green Light Collective in San Diego California who just so happened to be featuring two versions of this strain that day. When faced between Hydro and Soil I had to go with the chem-fertilized (House and Garden) version this time around. I am sure glad I did as this stuff was very nicely flushed and cured and there is no trace of any chemicals remaining. This local grow lasted 9 weeks and the final product is some very fine Cannabis indeed.
As soon as you open the jar, a pungent, lemony, ammonia smell escapes and permeates all around you. When smoked, that same sweet, delicious taste comes back to haunt your taste buds on the exhale. When Vaporized the vapor is much more harsh and will certainly make you cough with a big enough hit. It may make you feel like you took in a chest full of tear gas but it tastes like you've been eating lemon slices after you recover. And the effects? Much more sedative than when smoked by my analysis.
When smoked, I found myself wide-eyed and bushy tailed, ready to attack some yet unforeseen challenge. The first 15 minutes or so, my thoughts were slightly disrupted and foggy but that cleared shortly thereafter and was replaced with intense focus. I was so energized I decided to get off the couch and clean my whole office. I would HIGHLY recommend this medication for morning sessions as an outstanding compliment to your coffee or tea. If you are suffering from insomnia do NOT expect Power Plant to soothe you to sleep, as you should find quite the opposite effect. After some mild research I can understand why. For those curious, Power Plant is an 80/20 (roughly) Sativa dominant strain cultivated by Dutch Passion in 1997 from South African genetics.
Overall, I would highly recommend this to all you Sativa lovers out there or anyone else looking for a boost of energy when your ailments may have you feeling down and a bit unproductive.

according to dutch passion pp is 100% sativa never inbred. ppp however is a totally different story, like said nirvana makes quality knockoffs...joey weed makes quality f2's both are cheap.

Around week 4 they suddenly started going crazy! an 1/2 to an inch a day until they reached around 16 to 18 inches, and extremely bushy, thats where I decided to put them into flower ( around week 6 to 7). Now they are 36 + inches and just as big around, with buds everywhere.
I think relatively colder night temps and a high ph ( 7.0) might have contributed to my problems, as it was soon after I remedied these that they started to grow.
Also I had them planted in rather large pots (3 gal and 5 gal ) and I think that all their energy was going to the root developement rather than leaf developement.
I'm looking forward to trying it out, its all I can do to refrain from trimming some undeveloped bud just to see what I have

One thing that happened to me this past season was something I've never had a problem with .....mold. I have no idea why I had this problem on those big beautiful babies . If anyone has any ideas I would be most appreciative.I caught it in time and removed the damaged parts before it had much of a chance to spread, and luckily the balance of the plant was perfect.

I use HPS lights and I really don't think humidity could be the problem , because it neer has been ,but I know things change. LEDs are new technology and I am pretty sure they have merit , but I just go with what I know has been totally proven. I've never been a good gambler ,so I stick with the proven. Sorry I couldn't be of more help ,but I really have never tried LEDs
