How bad is an early dark cycle during flowering?

Apartment agency is doing an inspection tomorrow for general maintenance between 8am-5pm. I was going to move the grow box to my car around 5am. It's basically a rubbermaid box with some inline fans sticking out the top. Just going to move the whole thing and put it in my trunk.

I'm a week into flowering, its just going to be on its side for about 12 hours, which is 7 hours before normal flowering cycle at noon. I realize this is a bad, stressful thing for my plant but its still relatively early into flowering and it seems like it has plenty of time to recover from the stress I'll be causing it. Will too much dark time interupt the flower cycle or what?

Personally, I would be more concerned that the temperature in ur trunk might get too hot for ur plants, especially if u r parked outside in the sun on a hot day. Do u have a trustworthy friend who would let u leave ur babies at their place until u get out of work and the inspectors are gone? I don't believe the change in the light cycle will do much damage. I grow indoors in a closet and last summer we had a terrible thunderstorm that knocked the power out about 6 hrs b4 the time they usually get darkness and it didn't come back on for about 6 hrs after the light should have come back on. My babes came thru with no problems. I ended up harvesting about an ounce of dried product from each plant and they were only about 18" tall at harvest time.

I hope this helps. good luck with ur babies.

I agree, the temperature is a bigger concern, maybe buy some block ice to put in your trunk in another tub so that the water doesn't get everywhere?

Early light is a stress, early dark isn't. In nature, early dark would be the same as a heavy cloud overcast, which happens.
