big leaves causing premature flowering
Drop the scissors, and let the little fan go...
It's normal. Leave the fan's alone. If you start to dick with them, growth slows and you risk stressing her into hermaphrodism.
The fans are the storehouse of already-processed nutrients and mobile elements. She has worked hard to uptake, process and store those nutrients, and the cannabis plant has had this growth habit for 10,000 years. She'll be fine without your 'shortcuts'.
Sometime when you have a bumper crop of meds, try removing a couple of fans from one flowering plant, and leave them on another plant of similar size, strain and maturity. See which plant struggles to catch-up.
