Mandala Hashberry log #1
Yo crew, long time since Ive grown so please let me know if there's any conflicts in the following set up, this is going to be my log for the grow as well.
I intend to grow 4 to 5 at a time.
Light : 400w MH/HPS electronic switchable ballast.
Soil : Schultz Potting soil with peat moss, perlite, composed organic materials, and lime for ph balance. (0.08 - 0.12 - 0.08) N-P-K
Pots : 5 3gal pots
Planning on maintaining a straight water feed until 4th node arise's and then start feeding it real food. I will have pictures set up as soon as my seeds get here and are ready to go. I would also like to tie the plant for it to develop more cola's, so if anyone can shed some light on how to do so, please do it would be most kindly appreciated <3. :rasta:
If anyone's wondering I purchased these Hashberry seeds, they are from Mandala Seeds. I hear good things about them so I hope these turn out for the best, but hell with some help from you guys it should go just smooth.

Can anyone shed any light on how I can LST the plant into developing more shoots? Any help here or thoughts about the medium.
Also my tap water comes out a 7+ PH so I think Im going to go with bottled, comes out at 6.3 PH. Keep everything much more healthy and thriving. Bought a nice PH kit at walmart LOL.G13 Auto Blueberry / Barneys Farm Pineapple express Auto / NL x Big Bud Auto GREENHOUSE

Using Schultz Potting soil with Peat moss, Little value's of N-P-K, and lime to balance pH. Anyway I will have pictures arising soon, nothing funs happening now anyway :P :rastasmoke:

I have grown out most of the Mandala straines, but I haven't tried the Hashberry as of yet . I have the seeds just do not have the time or space.
From what I have seen if the Hashberry is a short Indica like the Satori I would not top. Even for a short plant they produce quite a bit of bud on a sizable main cola. Since you are starting from seed I would veg for at least 6 to 8 weeks, which should give you a plant of about 16-18 inches going into flower. Which should give you a plant of about 25 to 30 inches after strech. Do not feed for the first several weeks, only Ph'd water. Then you can start gradually increasing the amount of nutes from 1/2 to 2/3 to full over the next couple of weeks. ( I use the full lineup of Fox Farms Nutes). Hope this helps a little. Good luck.

Feeding with Schultz Liquid Plant Food once a week and the rest with PH'd water. The PH of my water concerned me a little bit as its in the 7.0 - 7.4 range but the plants seem to be taking very well. I should have pictures next week! I hope to be flowering within the next 2 weeks.

hows tricks man. looking forward to your log.im a firm believer in l.s.t. i was always restricted height issues(not personally) so i have allways used it. after 10 days bend the stems back and forth to get them strong. and then when they are about 5 inches i just bend them straight on to the side of the pot.tie them with them green plant ties(soft ones) and wait for it to grow back up to the light, then bend it around the pot again..its great for promoting side growth and leads to a crazy looking plant with just a few fat main colas..:rastasmoke:

I got the LST down on the Unknown Sativa. She is very very bushy. Im excited for the flower and I anticipate it will take me 55-60 days to flower. Then I plan on curing for a week and a bit after the drying. Also could someone fill me in on how to sift all the THC from the left over plant after harvest
 Thx guys

If I were you I would take 3 or 4 clones from the Hashberry before you put it into flower. The clones make better plants than the ones from seed. I think if you drop the ph of your water down to 6.3 you will have better results. The grow I'm doing now is all Mandala from clones... Kalichukra, Satori, and Mandala #1. They were all veg'ed for 8 weeks the Kalichukra and Mandala #1 were 32 inches tall topped going into flower. The Satori was 26 inches going into flower. After 4 weeks of flowering the Mandala #1 plants are about 50 inches or more tall with multiple colas. The Kalichukra is about 60 inches tall with multiple colas and the Satori is around 50 inches with just single colas. Damn nice looking plants all.
They were fed Fox Farms Nutes from the beginning every other watering. The other watering was (is) just plain ph'd water. The attached picture is a Satori plant that was harvested last month. It was 30 inches tall at the finish and produced over 2 oz of dried bud.

It's very easy to lower the ph of water. All you need is plain vinegar. If you do not have a ph pin they are not that expensive. My tap water runs about 7.0 if I add 17 cc or 1tbls plus 1/2 tsp of apple cider vinegar it will test close to 6.3. If you are adding nutes to the mix it will take less vinegar to lower the ph.
