    Mandala Hashberry log #1

Hey guys so after a little bit of digging I found my camera cord! So I can upload some new, good pictures of the flowers. I also will include earlier pictures with correct dates and age at time of picture.

How tall were they when you put them into flower? How much head room do you have in your grow area? This time around I let my Satori plants go until they were 27 inches tall before I put them into flower. The result is now they are all around 45 inches and turning purple because of the 60 degree temperatures at night. The first picture is of the grow room with the door open. The second is a shot of one of the Satori plants cola.[attachment=o229967]

Those are looking great dit. I put my hashberry into flower at about 20-22 inches. I have plenty of head room, about 10-11ft. The temp here drops rapidly aswell as I am seeing snow as we speak. At night I have no way to heat my grow room without adding light, the only heater I have gives off light. I dont need the extra heat, its just not as warm and humid as I would like it to be over night.

I try to keep my temps in the summer time in the mid 80's when the lights are on with about 50 percent humidity. Night time in the mid 70's. This time of year and during the winter I like mid 70's during lights on and low 60's lights off in my flowering cabs. When it gets about 2 weeks from harvest i'll drop the humidity in the grow areas down to 30-40 percent. My veg room stays in the mid 70's year around.

you could always purchase a small heater fan, I know the old ones have some lights but I bet you could make some sort of cover out of something to cover the light. I am currently thinking about ways to keep my cubby at a constant temp all the time as winter is dawning upon us. things are looking good.

I saw earlyier up that you were going to start lsting 5-10 days into flower. Its better to start your lst after 4-5 node is up, this allaws the hormones in the main stem to disperse and you end up training the bud sites to grow up and you kinda rotate the plant to get direct light at those bud site, then you end up with a plant that has 20 top main colas all the same height as the middle main stem, this allow for even lighting at the canopy. you usually want to stop lst about 1-2 weeks before you start flowering to allow the plant to straighten out. Indoor growers can veg for 7-8 weeks but when you only have about 4x4x4 space you usually start flower after 3-5 weeks depending again on the space. You should look into working some lst into your new plants then build yourslef a bubble cloner, take a bunch of cuttings and get em cloned then set up a SOG or SCROG. YOu could get alot of good buds with a 400w with this method. I just started my lst about 3-4 days ago and can already see the difference. Cannabis plants can be grow like graps, run totally horizontal on the ground and you can get buds that dont grow around the stem like a big fat nug, but grow up towards the light, like little christmas trees that run along the stem, its cool. My first grow I used only cfls and they surrounded the plants top to bottom so I didnt have to tie mine down she lsted her self lol. It looks good in here, ill keep an eye out. And i know what you mean, sometimes ppl just dont post, even when you need help, the number of views goes up, but not the info.

Thanks for the info and comment Enhanced. Much appreciated.

I imagine that method would work better with a 1000w. Im selling my 400w to another local grower to buy the 1000w for my next grow. I might keep it for a veg tent, not sure. I have tried cloning in the past, didnt have much success and to me it seems ineffective for me, seeing as where I cloned didnt grow back?:/ That was a while ago so maybe things will go better in the future to come. My next grows going to consist of two tents [ If I keep the 400w ] 1 flower 1 veg. 400w for veg 1000w for flower to grow those big tight buds.

Anyway update on the hasberry will be tommorow, her top cola got amazingly big over night!

:thumbsup:Out of all the strains that one could grow, Mandala Hashberry is my favorite. Very hardy, very bushy, and awesome smoke. The tackyness is insane!
