This isn't really "spiritual" but there's nowehre else to put it
Why is it so hard to think that maybe the dinosaurs just simply evolved into what we have today. Who ever came up with the theory that they were all wiped out? Is there some sound proof that all dinosaurs at some given time just died from a comet or something? The other day i was driving on my road and i happened to look to my left into a field and i saw a herd of deer running across the feild. This instantly reminded of the scene in the first jurassic park where Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and the two kids were running across the feild and the herd of dinosaurs comes running by.naturalmystic Reviewed by naturalmystic on . The way the theory actually works is "big dinosaurs" died out, the smaller ones became for the most part modern day birds and lizards (and some animals have lived the entire time) Check out "Archaeopteryx", Coelacanth (a long held belief this fish was extinct, Then they found tons of them around Africa, why you ask did no one know about this, Natives said "it tasted like dirt",so no one kept any to give or show to a naturalist or biologist....), The Megalodon Shark (great white about 50-75 feet long AHHHH, apparently went extinct within the last 25,000-50,000 years yet was around since the Cetaceous I believe). Most sharks, turtles, crocodilians, insects havent died out at all , just became smaller to adapt. Not so hard a stretch to see dino's surviving *(just not large ones ie: allosaurus , ultrasaur's, diplodocus, and my fave Tyrannosaur's). Plus according to fossil records at one point almost 98% of life was wiped out on earth, now thats a scary thought. Although I'm kind of thankful large dino's didnt survive (or at least I hope they didnt, After all "nessie" or other "pleiosaurs" may exist to this day, the ocean is a wide place , just recently they've proved the existence of giant squids also known centuries ago as "krakens",most people considered the whole thing foolish to even think of now its fact(found in sperm whales apparently their favourite food), also over 100 species are discovered everyday ....)

Also some become us, Look back at any "dinosaur" book that has "species trees" and find our common land dwelling ancestor that evolved into present day mammals(it was an amphibious lizard
), go back far enough its amazing what you can find. Recently alot of scientists have thought that "cold blooded" may not have been so common either

There are alot of prehistoric looking reptiles etc getting around. There were reptillians back then that are very similar to some of the ones we have today. Were people living back then ? that was a fossil found from when the dinos were around.

There is a distinct and sudden lack of large dinosaur fossils dating to 60 million years ago. you have to understand how evolution works. They couldn't have simply evolved into everything else because there has to be species linking them, showing the gradual progression from T-rex to deer (or whatever animal/dino combo you wish). They didn't all one day just magically transform into horses and elephants.
P.S. X-men, while very entertaining, gives a terribly false view of the workings of evolution.\"Nirvana is the extinction of self\" - Buddha
