Agreed, practice is the way to get it down. I always use the heat pad but your situation is a little different. You can always carry the heat pad and go in the bathroom to test, put the heat pad on the bottle with a rubber band and then come out and tell them you can't go and you need a glass of water. That will stall for 20 minutes or so.

I like to turn in the sample around 97 degrees because a quest employee is usually standing outside the door and takes the sample from you. I have rubbed my finger on my pants and place it over the heat strip to warm it up but thats taking a chance depending how warm your qf is when you dump it.
