Help!!! My plant is yellow and stunted.

Ok so I've searched everywhere on the internet and through these threads and I can't seem to find the answer to my problem. My plant was originally growing in a friend's yard. I recently received the plant and put it in a rapid rooter and a cup of seed starting soil and organic mix, both by miracle grow. They went through a period of shock but they came out of and and were fine. About a week and a half ago I transplanted them into bigger pots, and I won't go any larger with their size, and the plants went crazy in the sun and grew like I hadn't seen. Now, however, there is a problem with the new growth. One leaf is growing the way it should, big and strong. But the other fan leaf is stunted, yellow, and now starting the get a brown spot. I really have no Idea what it could be! Please help! Sorry about the picture quality but it's the best that I could do.

Copy/paste the trouble report, answer and repost in Plant Problems. Someone will help you asap.

First off, I can tell your soil is a bit "heavy". Needs to be lightened up with perlite. Heavy soil can cause drainage or overwatering problems for newer growers.

    Good Luck.

Too much bark or wood chips can rob N from your soil and cause all kinds of problems, especially lock out from ph.
