need some advice

im just trying to figure out if i pruned my plant right...im not sure if its a male or female either or the strain...just got some seeds out of a sack and decided to grow.

I believe you will have better luck with growing advice by posting in the growing and plant problem forums.

Your plant looks fine, you did the cut at a correct place. However, you haven't said why you've been pruning your plants.

My advise to you is read all the FAQs in the grow forum, then go from there. All the information you need to grow is right here at cancom, you just have to read it.

The pic on the left (from what I can tell) you topped it correctly. I cant see any pre flowers from your pics but by the size of your plant I would guess that it is still too young. Your plant is at the begining of the vegetative state and you should start seeing signs within a couple weeks or so. Light cycle also can delay preflowers. If you veg your plants under 24 hours of light, I have found that when growing from seed the preflowers take longer to show. 18/6 light cycle might help if you are not already doing so.

well i planted it from a seed pretty late...like about end of may...it seems like its growing pretty dang well...iv been researching alot lately...it seems like the site branches closer to the bottom are getting pretty big...were i live i have really good sun...today its about 90 degrees farenheit...so idk...do you think i will need to force flower it because i planted it so late?

Il tell ya im no expert, but i seeded mine on my deck in a big pot. Then put the seedlings into cups to care for them. After they were big enough i put some in the ground and kept a couple in pots, so i can try different methods. Also, i can watch them grow, which is about 85% of the hobbyimp:

So read every day. I do and ya learn to fix your own problems. Now thats fun! I read every day and also read the grow logs. you get lots of info there too.

Your fine, the plant looks great. Just remember to keep re potting in a bigger pot. My grow is in the "out door growing section". Its not greatest but shows the plants in pots. Your growing in pots, so.
