Humboldt county's ownI have used the gravity, purple maxx, and the soon to be in stores Snow Storm. Gravity is a nice product that doesnt really create bud swell as much as it does help dense up your buds. If used how the bottle suggests, your yield will increase due to being more dense but if used too early in the flowering stage your buds will be TOO hard and almost rockbud like. Purple Maxx is a nice product that does definatly increase resin production but unless you strain has back genetics of blue/purple in it, it doesnt really turn your shit purple. Snow Storm is another crystal enhancer that i am using currently and will let you know the result...so far looking promising. Both gravity and purple maxx have high ppm so when given to your plants, I recommend doing it on the water days not the feeding days. Hope this helps ya. Grow Big or go home

Humboldt county's ownIf you use Bush Master you have to change your soil afterwords. It makes your plants stop growing up and and makes them bush out and get ready for bud. If you reuse the same soil your plants will grow stunted and not veg to their full potential. A lot of people around here found that out the hard way. MEDICAL COLLECTIVE MEMBER/PATIENT/CAREGIVER

Humboldt county's ownI used to be a loyal Fox Farm soil guy till I met a guy who worked for them making the soil. He said they are using very poor ingredients and that he would never use their stuff. I don't know about the liquids but I wouldn't use the soil. I have switched to Roots Organic and have been very happy. Originally Posted by the image reaper

Humboldt county's ownHave used both Gravity and Purple Maxx. Be careful with the Gravity. Cut the dose in half the first time you use it and don't add any other nutes while applying it. It does seem to work good though.

Humboldt county's ownthe thread question was regarding 'additives' ... I don't like Fox Farm soils, either ... when using soil, I prefer 'Whitney's Premium Potting Soil' (affordable, too :thumbsup Originally Posted by humboldtlocal Originally Posted by humboldtlocal ... but, they recently were bought by Scotts/MiracleGrow Corp., so that may change, too ... but, for fertilizer, for both hydroponics, and soil, I still go 100% with Fox Farm ... my plants thank me for it ... but, they recently were bought by Scotts/MiracleGrow Corp., so that may change, too ... but, for fertilizer, for both hydroponics, and soil, I still go 100% with Fox Farm ... my plants thank me for it ... ...

Humboldt county's ownI am still wrapping my head around this one.... Bush Master is sprayed onto the plant, not given to the roots via the soil. So why would you need to change your soil when it is not leaching any of the nutes from it. I could understand if you apply it via soil, but it doesn't say to.
