    overfertilized ahhhh

Well dumbass me had 4 nice looking ladies growing behind the compost pile. Ive been added quail and rabbit manure to the pile. Well it rained here for 2 days and all that compost tea went straight to the ladies. 3 of them are fine but one is wilting bad and starting to yellow from the bottom.I took off the top 2 inches of dirt and i tried to water my babies for about 30 min. to leach the soil. I dont know what else to do. These are white russian and ill cry if i loose one. And yes i did move the compost pile. Anyone have any good ideas to leach the soil?. Thanks

If it happened to me i'd do much like you did. Move the compost and 'wash' the soil out.

I watered very well last night. This morning she looked alot better. She did loose a bit of her lush green color and a few leaves at the bottom turned yellow. I was so happy thinking she was on the road to recovery. Then i went out to check on her again. Ahhh , shes starting to wilt again as the heat rises.I watered good again and im concerned that i may drown the ole gal. @ things Id like to know if anyone as the answer, Being as my soil is wet, doesnt that slow the N intake of my plant? also being as my plants are in the groundby me watering them, arent i just pushing the N further into to the root system?
ive watered with copius amouts of water twice. I guess i should leave her alone and see what happens. dont want to kill her with kindness. Thanks for your help. Buzz
