Is it possible to grow with Mg continuous release plant food.? It says total N..0.21% available phosphate...0.07% soluble potash...0.14%. It says it feeds up to 3 months. Will this mess up my plants in certain stages, But theses numbers don't seem high but i am not sure almost seems like you would need to still use some ferts. Is it possible to just run few gallons on water threw it to flush it would it help at all. And what is a good fert. to use in the bloom stage. Thanx for stopping by my thread.
OK...now hear this.
From my own experience I use MG Organic Soil...not continuous plant food.
Your babies aregoing to need different nute levels at different phases. For example, when your in the veg stage "growth" your going to want high N levels...but .21% is sort of high for the youngins.
When they go into their flowering phase you want to reduce your N levels and increase your P levels.
This is what I recomend for you and I've had great success so far with it.
Keep in mind I plant in containers. Use 1 gallon pots mixed with 60% MG organic soil, 30% perilite, 10% Organic cow manure...add about 1-2 inches of peeble gravel at the bottom of the pot to prevent root saturation and make sure your pots have good sized holes at the bottom for drainage.
Grow your babies in these pots until the 5th or 6th node and then transplant into 5 gallon pots with the same soil ratios.
As far as nutes I recomend Fox Farm Big Grow for the veg phase & Fox Farm Tiger Bloom for the flowering phase. Keep in mind that when you use MG organic soil it has nutes embeded in it that will last about 1 month so when you start with your Fox Farm nutes introduce them at 1/4 to 1/2 strength and watch them for tollerance (you want to avoid nute burn).
Let me know if any of this helps you....the gurus her have recomended this to me and it has worked just lovely!
I have 2 Mazar-I-Indica's, almost 2 months old and are about 4 1/2 feet. I'm also growing 4 Feminized White Widows and these bitches are monsters..all are already over 5 feet. All my plants are just about ready to start flowering but I probably wont see the 12 hours of darkness needed yet for another 3 weeks. At this rate I'm going to need a god damn ladder to foliar feed them down the road!
