oh.. one more thing. what are your temps? you need to know, go buy a cheapy thermometer. the temps need to be 75-85 for optimum growth. my veg box was getting too cold at night (65) and my plants were growing slower then hell. just a thought

I'm about 5-6 weeks in and my leaves look a little droopy. I also have to go buy some pest strips to get rid of the spider mites. I have one 100 Watt daylight bulb above the plant and 2 on each side. I plan on upgrading my lighting system when I have more money but for now this is all I have to work with. Is it over watered? Under watered? Anything else? I will go out tomorrow and buy one. Its amazing how much this sucker has taken off since repotting.Also my plants 'sleep' during the day. However they are still in the dark cause they are in a closet.Is this alright? I don't have a timer and I turn them on manualy. If I need to change that what do you suggest is the best way to do so? Thanks once again guys!

go get a timer and run 18 hours on 6 hours off. doesn't matter what time of the day you do it as long as the dark cycle is 100% dark. manually just isn't consistent enough

get some diatomaceous earth from a online, or nursery. Call around, most don't carry it. Don't get the pool kind its to weak. 8 bucks but will last for years.

The shells provide nutrients and silica to the plants, and it's organic too.
3% magnesium, 33% silicon, 19% calcium, 5% sodium, 2% iron and many other trace minerals such as titanium, boron, manganese, copper and zirconium.

Also try potato slices on the top of the soil. keep them there for 24hrs and you might have some bugs on the bottom of them and throw them away.

That should help with the bug problem.
