A question in regards to the pre-flowering phase.
I'm concerned a bit in regards to the following issue. I posted earlier in a previous post, images of my plants and asked if they were in the pre-flowering phase. The general opinion was "yes" so I began feeding at roughly 1/4 strength, "Fox Farm Tiger Bloom". If my plants were still in the vegetative phase and I started with tiger bloom should I be concerned if my plants seem to have slowed in growth? Or is it normal in the pre-flower phase for growth to some what slow? And if they were still in the vegetative state have I caused any problems for myself by introducing the tiger bloom to soon? And if so, should I continue with the bloom nutes, or revert back to the fox farm big grow?
Please advise....my mind twists over these issues.:wtf:BudE714 Reviewed by BudE714 on . A question in regards to the pre-flowering phase. I'm concerned a bit in regards to the following issue. A question in regards to the pre-flowering phase.
When I switch from veg light cycle (24/0) to the flowering light cycle (12/12)...I stay with the veg nutes for a week or two; them switch to bloom nutes.
Not sure what you mean by "preflowering phase"?...but once I see the sex...I transplant into 3 gallon pots and go to 12/12 light cycle.

Makes sence to support the growth spurt that comes from switching to 12/12 with veg nutes, after all the plants are trying to grow like crazy then.

I appreciate the feed back and I listen very closely! But,.....my grow is outdoors...I can't control the light cycle....unless I have the ability to tilt the earth! :stoned:

A question in regards to the pre-flowering phase.
I usually stay with veg nutes for week one, then 50/50 veg / bloom for weeks 2 and 3, then bloom and big bud weeks 4-6, then bloom only week 7, then flush. This is for indica or mostly indica based on 8-9 weeks flower in soil or soiless mix. For long growing sativa's just stretch out the weeks longer. JMO

Oh the humanity of it all. Honestly, I think I jumped the gun in going over to big bloom...so I'm going to revert back to the veg nutes until I see a little pretty fluffy god damn flower....LOL!
I've only been tiger blooming for about two weeks...so reverting back to big grow shouldnt stress them out to much correct? :wtf:

BTW I learned to grow on a farm in Chesterfield County during WWII; tobacco, hemp and row crops. Wonderfull learning experience, about plants and hard work.

A question in regards to the pre-flowering phase.
Old Mac....I'm growing in containers.
I've been reading your posts in other threads and I greatly value your input! You most certainly seem to know your stuff.
My containers are 5 gallon pots...3 inches of gravel at the bottom, 60% MG organic soil, 30% parilite, 10% manure....FYI!
Good to know that reverting back to veg nutes until I actually see flowers wont be any harm eases my soul. Thank you again for your input! :smokin:
