Beginning of a New Friendship

Hello. I have been lurkng in the background for weeks. Reading some of the jewels of wisdom and trying to follow advice. Read every word StinkyAttic has ever written and now rereading some of the older post.

But here is the best part of it. My first seedling broke out of it's shell and reached for the sun. Wow. I am a medical grower and a member of patients without time. I have done many things in my life that I look back over with pride. I have soared with an eagle, got laid by a movie star and once even broke the sound barrier. But nothing in my life ever compared to the feeling of looking in and seeing that little green sprout reach for the heavens.

I have heard that this is the beginning of a love affair. That certain feeling that seldom leaves you no matter how far you travel. I have read about pilots that have reached out and touched the face of God, but for one moment in time, that little plant that popped the surface was in a way, God reaching out his mighty hand and affirming life goes on. It's replanted from generation to generation and somehow, I know that things go on and on and on.

So in the coming weeks and months, I hope to follow those who have gone before me. I can only offer a simple Thank you. I learn from my mistakes and hopefully, I can gain information from those who are big enough to share their mistakes with all of us nubee's out here who haven't a clue of what's going on.

But oh, you should have seen that little sprout a few mintues ago. If this doesn't bring tears to your eyes, then nothing will.... I think I now understand for the first time, why some people grow.
