Late flower help!
If your trichomes a mostly amber you are past prime. Should be 20 % amber 80% cloudy. if you have that much amber a flush product like clearx will only take about 3 days. If you flush with PH adjusted water then about a week. No your flowers will not degrade in that short a time.
What kind of hydro system and what strain ?
What formula are you running with GH nutes ?
If you have alot of amber get to flushing. You will have a good headstone and couchlock for sure.

100% agree with Loc  for future reference 2 weeks out from harvest cut your nute mixture by 50% (in half) final week drain and refill with PH'd water ... No Nutes. Then it is time too :chainsaw:

Late flower help!
Awesome! im not quite ready yet, im just trying to stay on top of things and since this is my first hydro grow, i was unsure about the ripening of my buds. im only about 2 and a half weeks into flowering. ive just heard so many different things about using flushes and just using ph water.
Im growing some platinum kush x big bud and some classic white widow, two very different growing strains. weird i know.
im using the flora series, at:
floragro-5ml
floramicro-10ml
florabloom-15ml.
According to the gh feeding schedule there is a ripening stage, with:
floragro-0ml
floramicro-5ml
florabloom-15ml
is this stage really necessary or can i just go from bloom to a flush when im ready to harvest. Also, is spending too many weeks in aggressive bloom be hard on my plants?
I really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Late flower help!
Go with the ripening stage. The recipe they give is for your type of plants. It does make a difference. A week of flush with PH'ed water at the end. You will do well with that. The aggressive bloom is going to happen if your nutrients are right and that is what you want. It is no big stress to the plants, they love it.
Go simple but don't go cheap.
