What type of light is it? Like an actual grow light MH or a MH that he nabbed off a building or something? If its an actual grow light than it wont be hard to replace the cord seeing as it plugs into the hood. If its a flood light that he got u, then just connect the colors, electricity is not hard, just understand it. If the colors are different, green is always ground, white is always positive, have fun.

ForgetClassC Reviewed by ForgetClassC on . problem with new light I recently bought a 1000 watt MH with a bulb that the guy i bought it from said had 6 months already on it. I had it running for about 4 days on a 12/12 cycle and then it blew my outlet from what i can comprehend. That's not so much the problem as it is that after moving it to another outlet it turns on, i hear the buzzing but the light bulb doesn't light up. If i figet the cord i can see the bulb flicker but it never fires up. I'm just looking to get information on a trouble shoot. Rating: 5
