problem with new light
if you wiggle the cord and cord only and the bulb starts to flicker, it sounds like a short in the cord itself. would explain why it blew an outlet. WARNING!! Fire Hazard
tinytoon Reviewed by tinytoon on . problem with new light I recently bought a 1000 watt MH with a bulb that the guy i bought it from said had 6 months already on it. I had it running for about 4 days on a 12/12 cycle and then it blew my outlet from what i can comprehend. That's not so much the problem as it is that after moving it to another outlet it turns on, i hear the buzzing but the light bulb doesn't light up. If i figet the cord i can see the bulb flicker but it never fires up. I'm just looking to get information on a trouble shoot.
