The variations you see in your plants is very likely just the genetic differences displaying. MJ plants grown from seed are individuals, and not guaranteed to be carbon copies of each other.

It's not as good as the other but hey, it still looks good from here. I don't expect to get the same thing off 2 or more of any given plant. Out of many clones of the same plant they are all no exactly alike. Enviroment.
Nice Bud.

thanks for the advice. i know your right about the genetics being different in every plant but these have both been given the same tlc and neuts so im a bit restless.i might plant the one with the small airy buds into a bigger pot. will this stress the plant out to much as its 5 weeks into flowering..

I'm hyrdro and one mother in soil only for a short time untill I get a clone to say soilless like coco. All esle is for drip hydro.
With that said I would not transplant at this stage. I would just keep an eye on the trichomes. It may take a week or two longer to be ready for harvest. Maybe because the split put it back. The only way to harvest is by the color of tric's. Even if it is alittle airy going longer will only lose potency.
That's the one I would practice smoking while the big one gets a good long cure on. LOL.
