Your off to a great start by getting feminised seeds! What strain did you choose? Judging by the space you will be using you might want to go with a high pressure sodium (hps) 1000 watt light since you will be growing 10 plants and them ladies will need as much light as possible.... you will only need one seed per plant, start off by germinating seeds in your choice of rockwool or peat pellets, i wet 2 paper towels and put seeds in between them and seal in a ziploc bag inside tupperware i put on a warm surface, using this method its possible to see tap roots in the very next day. Best of luck to you bro dont hesitate to ask questions and take care!!!

If he grows 10 plants under 1000 watts of light from seed, there will never be room to flower them in one square meter. Did you notice the room size?

If I were you I would go with either a 400w or a 600w, and either MH or HPS, as many growers as opinions on this one. Make sure to get an air cooled hood if possible to control your heat in that small space.

A few dollars early on can save you from some headaches down the road.

    Just my :twocents: worth.

hey yes i will only be growing 3 plants to start off.i bought WSS skunk seeds from weedseedshop.com and i put them in the wet paper towels 2 days ago,all i've noticed so far is the seeds are growing bigger than the other 7.i was just wondering, once the roots come out should i begin by planting them in a small object like a yoghurt pot or put them straight into a big pot?thanks

I usually work my way up to big pots by transplanting. It allows the plant to make a denser root system and take more advantage of the full volume of the medium. If you put a seedling in a huge pot, it will go out toward the edges of the container quickly and leave empty space in your medium. At least that is my experience with it.

So I planted those 3 seeds about 3 days ago, they seem to be doing o.k but I can't really tell. The one problem I'm having is that the lights won't hang directly over them so therefore at times they seem to be growing almost diagonally, but then when I check back on them they are all perfectly straight again.Oh well..

(I'm having trouble attaching pictures,so here's a link to a pic of the plant in the past 2 hours.) baby plants picture by dsvkauenpkd - Photobucket

First of all the stretching of the plants shows that the lighting is way to high. Continue this and they will not beable to support their own weight unless they have some sort of supprot.
