cleaning question

I am cleaning the stem. I have it soaking in a ball mason jar filled with rubbing alcohol and i swish it around every few minutes, ( I am doing this because it's so resined up it wont hit any more..)
should I use salt?
and If so can I dry the stuff out and smoke the resine?
won't it taste salty?

not sure on the salt, but the rubbing alcohol you can evaporate out, kinda like how you would make hash oil the ISO way. I'm not for sure it will work, but it seems do-able.
