flimsy stalk
Dood you should NOT be watering everyday no matter how big your plants are. They need to have the soil dry out sometimes because the roots need to be encouraged to expand futher. Also I believe that when the soil dries out it probably allows the plant to breath a little more (oxygen, carbion dioxide, etc) for a while and just as long as watering/rain continues regulary the plant will be much healthier.
However, it is definatly true that water constantly is going to cause heavy more limp stems and leaves. What you should do is at the least work out a schedule where it gets a day without being watered inbetween.
Also like the other guy said, getting a fan to blow on it would without a doubt thicken up your stems because it encourages the plant to produce hormones which cause the thicker stem. What you could also do if you couldn't do that or better yet do it conjuction would be to give your plant a nice shaking everyday. Be careful but giving it a little stress like this can be very beneficial to the plant. One more thing, it'd probably be good to set up some kind of support stick to prevent the plant from ever falling over.Smoketobehappy Reviewed by Smoketobehappy on . flimsy stalk so all the branches and stalk on my plants are not thick and strong at all is there a way to thicken them up? i think i may be over watering them i water them every morning is that too much? i want them to be strong so they produce bigger buds Rating: 5
