Dood I live in new york and for the most part the weather has been very good lately for me. I have had rabbit/bug issues but the weather has been fairly good I think. Its been really sunny lately and I will admit the soil seems pretty dry a lot when i get to my spot but last year it was the same thing and i got a plant to 6feet and that was a male plant that i chopped at the end of august, if it was female it would have no doubt gotten to like 10 by the time it was done.

How often do you water. I have a twice a week schedule, one day of straight water, one day of regular strength nutes by foxfarms.

Also I don't get how you can have a problem with the soil being to dry when you say your plants aren't getting enough light. I would thnk the soil would be less prone to drying out.
