I'm here in NY and I've never had such an awful growing season in my life. I guess I was spoiled by black dirt and full sun which is not the case anymore. Bringing better soil out would be too conspicuous and between that, the record-setting rainfall this spring and worse yet leafhoppers that are eating my plants to ribbons, my crop is looking dismal. My question is regarding the leafhoppers: As the plants start to flower and the resin and smell really kick in, do you think my bug problem will go away? Somewhat? I used this neem oil from "Garden Safe" and it burned my plants, so now I'm wary of sprays. Nothing seems to be going as I planned. They're 4 ft. tall now and preflowering, I was hoping for giants which used to seem effortless to grow 13 footers in blackdirt. To think of the plants I could have if it were legal and I could take care of them the way I wanted without fear of being arrested. Bug help would be much appreciated. Peace.
