Frankly i dont see the difference between starving/dehydrating someone to death, and euthanasia, other than the fact that the former takes much longer, and what they call euthanasia is illegal. Oh and also the fact that a feeding tube isn't an extraordinary medical treatment. By the way if she's supposed to be beyond suffering,(which i'm not convinced of.) Whats to point in ending her life? Why can't the parents take care of her untill her bodies natural death?

I believe euthanasia should probably be used in some cases, especially if someones in a great deal of pain and suffering, and is going to die anyway. But if they are going to perform euthanasia, they should be damn sure of that persons condition, and they should do it as quickly and painlessly as possible, which i don't see happening in the Shiavo case.
