Letter to President Bush about Terri Schiavo
I am so thankful that no one or the government stepted in when my parents were sick. both died from cancer, both died at the house they built, both were taken care of by me [ with hospice's help], both were NOT given food and water over their last weeks, both were well medicated. BOTH died PEACEFULLY with smiles on thier faces. I thank God i was able to abide by their wishes with out ANYONE stepping in. My parents died as they wished, just as Teri Schaivo had her wishes, should she ever be in the condition she is in now. How dare anyone void or change those wishes!!!
Dieing with out food and water isn't as bad as it sounds. especially in conditions such as hers or my parents, continuing life as she and my parents are and were living is the crime. Everyone has the right to decide what is and isn't to be done to them in situations just like these. Just my 2 cents any nickel will beat it.
peace
