SCLR- Runoff ph at 6.2
E-Distilled water
E- nuetral
HRT- Distilled purchased from store
E- 30 days
E- GH 3 part nutes, agressive growth schedule. Cal Mag 1 tablespoon per gallon of Distilled water
E- Do not know my ppm level (need to purchase a ppm meter)
E- T5 4ft. 6 bulb lamp
E- Air temperature is 76-78 degrees F, Night temp is 65-70 degrees F, res is room temperature.
E- Humidity runs at 44-50%
E- 18/6
E- oscilating fan, vent fan at top of room, and air in through ac unit.
TR- Soaked media in Distilled water...don't think this is effecting anything at this point though.

My question is this. Is this normal for fan leaves to bend upwards from the vein? Please look at the pictures I have provided.

I have been spraying the plants with a distilled water cal-mag foliar spray due to calcium and magnesium deficiency that has been taken care of since the addition of agressive nute schedule and foliar spray combo.

The last time I changes the res was last week. I will be changing it today...and continuing aggressive veg growth schedule as listed by GH recommendations.

Any help would be appreciated...and if you thin kI am just being a paranoid stoner, that would be helpful too! :jointsmile:

If your ph runoff is at 6.2 what is the ph in the res? Just curious because I believe hydro should be somewhat lower than that, like 5.7 or 5.8. I'm sure one of the hydro gurus can chime in on that.

I can see some lightening in the margins of the leaves when I look close up at the pics. I might be concerned as well, but look into your ph in some of the other logs and see where they are at. I would bet that is the issue because everything else seems locked down, temps good and all that.

Ph is good for aggressive growth stage in hydro. Measured again today and it was 6.0 ph runoff...6.5 res.

The discoloration in the margins is limited to one plant. I did have a calcium and magnesium issue that I have addressed with cal mag foliar and in feedings.

I am still a but amiss as to what the issue could be. I just changed the res and added new nutes about 10 minutes ago.

any other suggestions, I would love to hear them.

For hydro your PH should be 5.3 to 6.3. Try to get your rez down just alittle to 5.6 or so. It will climb just a bit most of the time.

what is the mix on the agressive growth schedule with GH 3 part ?

Runoff ? Are you runnign drip to waste ?

If the leaf does it much more it is canoeing. Can be a ph lockout.
Your close with ph anyway so maybe why only one plant now.

during watering I like to know the ph level of what is going back into my res...ph pf my res is back at 5.8 as of today. Flushed it this morning. 6.1 is the run off currently.

What is this canoeing affect you are talking about? Is it nute lockout?

I flushed...thanks Loc NAR for your reply. Put things into prospective. Went with Distilled water and cal mag.

I am going to feed like this for 3 days...Then flush...and add nutes. I am running drip system drain to res. So a recycling system.

I will post the results.
