To Feed Or Not to Feed??

    Hello there,
Well I guess My ? is really not if I should feed but how?? I am using fox farm grow big and big bloom. The feeding schedule says every other water 3 tsp of grow big and 2 TBSP Big Bloom.per gallon ..On the Bottle you get 3 types of feeding, Heavy feed every 7-14 days, Every water. and foiler feed.. Now the ? is I have a 55 gallon drum that I fill de chlorinate?sp ph to 6.5 and water with.. But to feed the ladies I have to mix the nutes in a 2 gallon bucket and hand water..Pain in the ass So should I mix in the 55 gallon drum the proper amount per the Every water cycle..?? Or do you guys have a better way.. A little long winded I know but I have got to find out... Oh 4 plants in 30 gal smart pots and 2 in 45's.. So It seems to get run off they need at least 4 gal per 30 and like 6 gal per 45..

To Feed Or Not to Feed??

I use foxfarms myself dood and they way I've been doing it for veg growth is like this: Two "waterings" a week, the first is just straight water, i get the soil nice and saturated (visibly dark around 8 inches radius of the plant). Then when I feed it the second time for the week I basically just use a teaspoon per gallon like it says. This really translates into about a teaspoon for every 16 cups. So a 1/4 teaspoon would be good for a 4 cups (quarter gallon). When I feel like the plants are becoming stronger and more capable of handling nutes I slowly up the dose by eye balling an extra drop or two everytime.

Also when I watered them inside using the same schedule while they were in pots I'd always make sure enough water was poured into to have a decent amount of wwater drop from the bottom's drainage holes.
