    Heat damage help-advice

Question - I am a first time grower and am still learning. I accidentally let the heat in my grow area skyrocket, damaging mainly the main cola. The other buds seem like they will be okay though. I took off many of the cfl bulbs as well as added a better ventilation system and the plant should be doing better now. However, I am nervous about the main cola. It looks dry now and definitely was damaged by the heat. Is it possible for it to recover. I'm about 2 weeks in flowering in a cfl setup using soil. Bagseed strand.
My main question is will this cola recover from the damage and start to flourish over time, or is it just beat now?
The rest of the plant looks good. Maybe a little nut burn here and there (should not have fertilized it) but thats not bad, and then just some fried leaves from cfl heat but i clipped them off. I just hope my plant will be okay.

i included a pic of what it looked like days before the heat problem started, it was looking good. i just hope my plant makes it. its about 2 and a half feet tall.

If you have something productive to say by all means speak up, if not then please close the hole under your nose.

i too am first time grower but i believe i have made every mistake possible.
from what i have learned .....you better what for hermies now. the slightest stress WILL cause hermies even in mid flowering.
    good luck
your pics make me want to cry for you.

I am now facing 2 hermies and 1 femmed seeded plant. 3 out of my 5 down the drain. ;(

I haven't ever measured the exact temp. My setup was fine until i closed the top to try to make it more discreet. Thats when my problems arose. I'm moving in the next week and will have the greatest oppurtunity to set up a legit ventil;ation control system, but till then, i've lowered the lights and made a half decent system, nothing great.

So will my plant recover, or is it pretty much going to be beat now?

Burnt parts won't recover, but everything else should keep growing. If your temps are too high (above 85) then growth will slow down all over.
