I think i have some Nutes gone bad, please look
have a set of clones, they have been going strong until i gave them a 1/8th dose of FF grow big 2 days ago. They are all in FFOF, and are 3 weeks old (since new growth appeared) i ph all my water going in at 6.5 and the runoff is usually a bit lower than that. The grow big i am using is about a year and a half old, and it has the little rocks forming in it, I am thinking its gone bad and hurting my plants. this doesnt look like the normal burn where it starts at the tips, anyone have any ideas??

Two things come to mind...
First is...did you read the info at the Fox Farms website regarding the use of Ocean Forest? If not...do so now. (and then do a mini-flush) FoxFarm Soil & Fertilizer Company
The second is...those 'rocks' are the salts in the fert congealing. (clumping) Yes it does mean the nutes are getting old. But the salts start clumping at about 6 months after opening. I don't let that stop me fom using it though.
Shake very well before mixing the nutrients and flush the pots (1:1 pot volume:gallon of ph'd water) monthly to release those salts and prevent build-up.

yes the clumps are presipitated nutrients. This is not good. it locks up those nutrients and you are depriving your plants of them and worse is you are locking up the plants also. because you are now using to much of the nutrients that have not presipitated together in your nutrient solution. It happens all the time if you do not store your nutrients properly or with age as stated. I still use the locked up nutrients just not on these plants. use them in the garden and get yourself new nutrient solutions, so you are positive that the plants are getting a full balance of nutrient.
