Pollen sacks are not confined to the nodes. They often grow within the buds of stressed ladies. Usually easy to distinguish by the different shade of greenish yellow.

This is kinda sad and to admit. Although a lifelong gardener and pot smoker, I had never seen a "real, live MJ plant" in the flesh, only pictures and some vids. When the banana appeared on one of my Masterkush buds in my first grow, I suspected, but wasn't sure what it was. I never found any pictures of the occurance in my early research. I waited until it opened (to make sure and because I was curious ) before I decided to cut it. Luckily, I had no seeds form.

Although the water will render the pollen inert, you risk mold or budrot by overspraying. Don't go overboard, and resign yourself to either growing femmed seeds, (which is what you will end-up with) or harvesting early. If you harvest early you will likely end-up with those little popcorn seeds that explode in your pipe, if not found and removed.

And every other day since I closely inspect the other 2, can't trust them, you know.
Funny, that's the only kind of hermie I've seen in my short time of growing.
crabbyback Reviewed by crabbyback on . I need to know about HERMIES I have plants that are 3 weeks from being DONE. They are flowering great. But these girls have been stressed in more ways then one. I have now found seeds on 4 limbs on one plant (HERMIE). Can i cut those branches off, cure them and allow the rest keep growing as females. The branches are the bottom branches. I can post pics if really need. but if you have been growing enough you done this so i am curious can you save the rest of the plant. Rating: 5
