I've perused the FAQ section over and over and can not find anything in regards to the question that I'm about to ask.

I understand that the best time for transplanting is when the roots become bound in the growing container. My question. Is there any way to estimate by "age" or "size" when starting off in a 1 qt container? The plant is outdoors and is sprouting the 5th node and is approximately 3 to 4 weeks old. I'm not going to yank it out of the pot on this estimation, I'm just trying to get an idea if this is a "There is no way an outdoor plant can become root bound in one month!" kind of thing or not. Thanks!
