Depends on the strain. Some are white strains, the hairs do not turn by the time your plant is ready. Regular have hairs that turn red way before done. So the only way to tell is by looking at the trichomes with magnafication. Do a search on trichomes they should be 80 percent milky and 20 percent amber. That is the peak more amber more headstone more mily more bodystone. Clear trichomes and an uplifting energy buzz that doesn't last long.
