my oldest brother is a stickler for MH and HPS when it comes to indoor lighting.i luv to rouse him about how his growing techniques r outdated and with my little ole 85 watt daylight CFL's combined with natural sunlight will run circles anytime over any of his harvests and far more cheaper and safer.so we gots us a little competition going where we both have a 4x4 indoor setup to see who is full of U kno what.we R in week 5 and all mine have already sexed and R looking great!Short, Compact,Bushy and ALIVE!there's no way he's gonna be able to stay up.he's running a 400 watt combo MH-HPS with mylar and little ole me just has 2 5 socket standing lamps with 85 watt daylight cfl's running and my own homemade CO2 brewing away.i grow by the square foot method whereas i have 4 6" inch containers per sq ft which with 16 sq ft available, U do the math!i will be done and rolling 1 up by week 16.:rastasmoke:

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Come back when you two do a 'side-by-side' using the same reflective walls, same CO2 schedule, same soil, same nutes and schedule, same seeds, the same equipment, (fans, exhaust, heat management, humidifiers...) and the same wattages.
