Hey, Im pretty new to smoking, I know my basics so I think im managing pretty good for now...

I've been getting hookups all around my area, I've been getting pretty good connects and one was busting me out with three grams for
ten dollars, I wanna buy some bulk off him maybe fifty or sixty dollars worth... But I dont wanna get ripped off and his shit ends up to be nothing
but stress.

First off I just wanna know if the weeds good he said that it was
danky ass shit was some sort of thai. He's given me a small baggy to sample it...
But im not really sure how to tell if its good when I smoke it??

Finally, I wanna know how much weed is in one gram??
Basically if you can make a good example of how much it should be,
Ill be pretty good Pics would help out too...

Really tough to tell the weight by pics or looking at bud, because some are more dense than others. If you are going to be buying off the street, I'd get a mini scale for yourself to keep at home (just don't carry it around with you, as it can be seen as intent to sell). You can always calibrate with a nickel, which is exactly 5 grams.

As for whether it's good... Well, there are so many opinions and preferences, but personally I'd look for a couple things: are there a lot of seeds and stems? The less, the better; No seeds and small stems is the best. Then, if the bud is dried properly (evenly inside and out, stem snaps when bent). Finally, the effect, which is always different. Some will work better for others and so on, so it's really tough to say. The more you smoke, the better you will get at knowing what is good bud - in general and for you :jointsmile:
