    Laced or Not?

Sure there are the people claiming to have smoked acid and get effects, just as people have claimed to smoke shrooms and get effects...then there are those who have tried it and experienced nothing.
Upon combustion and reacting with oxygen, I doubt much of the LSD or related chemicals would remain. Here is the MSDS: http://msds.ehs.cornell.edu/msds/msd...11/m155123.htm (Look at Section 10)
That isn't what really matters here though, it is that acid is not cheap and in the United States is getting rare. Thus there is no logical reason for a dealer to take any amount of acid and put it on weed without telling the buyer, there would be much more profit in simply selling it for what it is by itself.

in essence...no one is going to treat shitty, cheap bud with an expensive additive...hence, another cannabis myth destroyed (at least as far as those who have the needed common sense is concerned).

now if it looks and tastes like spearmint, ya got something totally different...

C'mon. Do you really think people have the time and money to put a value added supply to their product? The economics of weed is that it is relativelycheap and industrial chemicals or other contraband cost comparably more.

I think the common perception of it being laced is due to lackluster growing and the addition of cheap or incorrect nutes(miracle grow). I do have to agree with most on this thread. If someone can profit from selling it alone, why bother lacing? Anything that I can think of to use as a lacing agent already has a black market economy that suffers from basic economic supply and demand. I believe the only time it would be profitable to lace is if you carry inventory on several products and one is becoming aged. The logic being you may be able to squeeze enough extra price from your weed to make yourself whole on the product that didn't sell. This is just my 2 cents.

Lsd, if I remember correctly, is an acid that oxidizes when exposed to air. By burning, it will force to complete oxidized state leaving a completely different chemical. I took acid once, that was more than enough for this lifetime. I am not going to comment on the rest of the lacing agents, most seem foolish. I am going to assume you will only find this problem with very low end dealers(they should be avoided).

Another possibility to consider is mold. It can turn things funny colors and make the smell and taste off. This may be interpreted as lacing.

I've been smoking a long time, I can't say that I have run across any laced stuff to my knowledge. I do prefer to know my strains and with that comes contacts that cater to the high end consumer. Doing this will make the lacing conversation moot.

I think I will leave it like this, if it smells like bud, tastes like bud, and gets you ripped I am going to bet you got some bud.
