SD County Cards vs. Medicann
So has anyone looked into this?
SD County Card = $166.00
Medicann = $80.00 (I am a disabled vet)
I called the people in charge of the SD County Cards which and asked them why I would get one when Medicann is working just fine, its cheaper, SDPD has used it to check with no problems, and I still have 8 months left on it.
The lady on the phone informed me that the new SD County Card is the only one SDPD will accept now.

SD County Cards vs. Medicann
with them being forced to recognize and distrubute the cards by the feds it wouldnt surprise me that they make u pay for it
but as far as law goes, after a few times of wasting time on medical patients they will probly eventually accept anything and say screw it like hollywierd and santa monica

The person on the phone is just plain wrong...the SD County card is not required, it is purely voluntary but it may prove more expedient in clearing you if you get arrested for cannabis since it is more or less "pre-verified". All that is legally required is your recommendation from MediCann.

I don't think we are doing our cause justice by letting SDPD or the county dictate to us what cards we need to have particularly when their position is contrary to the letter of the law as per 215 and 420. Damn the CA Attorney General's opinion.
