Please help, brown spots and curling leaves

My first grow, I had the same problem. Grew four strains, one being White Widow. Got a few weeks into bloom, one day after I watered and nuted, most of the top leaves looked pretty much like yours. Like a claw but pointing upwards, with brown and burned spotting.

My advice is to flush the affected plant(s). There is a sticky covering flushing here.

If the other ladies are happy with their food, then keep feeding them at the current rate. Then just dilute that food with pH'd water for the querky querkle. :stoned:

You didn't say what kind of Fox Farm soil you were growing in. If it is the Ocean Forest (?) stuff, I hear it is very hot so beware.

Why did you change your pH to 6.0 this watering? You should be around 6.5 - 6.7. I don't think this is your main issue but it may be secondary to the overnuting.

    Good luck.

PH IS A GOOD PLACE TO START oops caps get that straight

next how do you clean your air and what is its proximity too the effected area or the ac? some a/c's hvae ionizers and ozone or corbon on top of what your running so both

does your water sit out? 40 ppm do you use a water softener, not much hardness maybe a touch of calmag but not till you answer water softner ?

i thought of some other stuff but smoked a bowl

TO AIR OUT THE SOIL. BAD IDEA?

I'd flush well (two to three times the pot volume) with 6.8 ph water.

SOUNDS GOOD SHOULD I DO THAT FOR ALL THE PLANTS OR JUST THE QUERKLES?

Mix per soil applications, not hydro. Big difference in needs.

YOU THINK I'VE BEEN GIVING THEM ALL TOO MUCH NUTES?
If feeding daily, you are building-up the nutrient level to toxic levels and dropping the ph. Likely getting a salt build up as well depending on the nutes.

I'VE ONLY BEEN FEEDING ABOUT TWICE A WEEK
6.3 to 6.8 ph for peat based soil (and peat based soilless) mixes.

I'd back off the additives till they are looking better.
    THANKS MAN:jointsmile:

YEA I THINK THAT'S WHAT I'M USING. WHAT DO YOU MEAN "HOT" I KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT SOIL

I RAN OUT OF PH UP BUT I THINK THAT PROBLEM STARTED BEFORE THAT. NOW THAT I THINK OF IT THE PROBLEM MAY HAVE STARTED WHEN I STARTED GIVING THEM BUD BLASTER

    Good luck.

Unfortunately there's a bit of art to dialing in nutrient levels in soil. I would just keep flushing those plants with pure water until the leaves straighten out and they start looking a little hungry for nutrients. I made the mistake when I first started in soil of using a rich soil plus a lot of nutrient, which just burned the crap out of the plants. Start low and just add slightly more until the very tips of the leaves start to burn and alternate pure water & nutrients every other day.

I'M NOT SURE IF MY AC HAS AN IONIZER OR NOT. I'M NOT RUNNING ANYTHING ELSE RIGHT NOW. I WAS PLANNING ON PUTTING IN A RECIRCULATING CARBON FILTER BUT I JUST MOVED AND AM ALREADY WAY OVER BUDGET. I'M APREHENSIVE ABOUT USING IONIZERS BECAUSE I'VE HEARD THAT THEY WILL MAKE YOU BUD NOT SMELL. I WANT MINE STINKY

I USUALLY FILL UP MY RES THE DAY BEFORE I WATER AND LET IT SIT WITH A COUPLE AIR STONES RUNNING OVERNIGHT. THEN I ADD EVERYTHING AND USUALLY USE THE WHOLE BATCH IMMEDIATLY. I DON'T USE WATER SOFTNER OR CALMAG. I KNOW PEOPLE IN MY AREA WHO USE CALMAG BUT I ALSO KNOW PEOPLE WHO DON'T

in a sealed room you need an air scrubber not sure y but i remember u do i prefer charcoal theres a inexpensive thread for making one on here somewher like 30$ or something

i just relized that you said querkle, i just started using FFOF in place of my normal cause i found a spot to get it cheap but i dont really care for it cause i tend to have probs 2-3 months in, works great at first tho. to the point. my purple erkle does the same shit in ff just about 2weeks ago now. i added some magical to her only, and it seemed to stop the spread.

dont try to fix whats not broke i think your prob might be the strain since my erk does the same thing in the same medium. try to add a lil cal mag not full strentgh, while reducing your overall strength

do you feed with every watering?

maybe rusty will chime in here

water softener like a filter or something
