my friend actually had one about a year ago before it was confinscated. but it was pretty cool. i dont know about freezing it, seeing as glass is such a strange substance when it comes to the extremes of both sides of temperature. though i wouldnt hesitate to put it in the fridge part for maybe 5-10 minutes before smoking though. i mean, you can keep bongs and the such in the fridge or chill them in the freezer to get the water colder if you wanted.
and speaking of that, if you made a bong, and put salt water in it, and then put it in the freezer it wouldnt freeze, it would just get really cold, then you could smoke, i dont think the salt would give the smoke a bad flavor or anything. dont forget the Hot water bong too peoples.

I think it's all in peole's head. If you're smoking weak bud, then I don't care how you smoke it, you're only gonna get so high. I smoke a bowl out of a regular pipe of some kill, and I'm fucked up off that one bowl.
I don't think freezing or whatever is gonna be better.

I had a bong, i used to put put hot water(microwaved for a bit) in the ash catcher, tap hot water in the bubble, cold water in the percolator, and ice cubes on top.
I like the cold air more than warm air, it feels... fresh i guess

The bad thing about ice bongs is the ice catches suspended resin/oil/smoke etc thats why the ice looks like it has boogers and shit all over it after a few hits. The idea I heard behind cold water bongs not freezing but damn close is the colder water can absorb and redistribute oxygen atoms better..I guess it cleans better or helps hold your hit longer etc..dont know if I buy this claim but its possible....either way your bound to end up:stoned:

and actually 2 times a week is not enough for my inline which is now my daily toker, so lately 3 times a week minimum
but having an ice catcher is definitely a little more work, it offers allot more and that is the way I look at it, I do have a GonG with an ice catcher but lately it just looks purty because of the hits that come out of my inline, glass design is everything.
lol tangent there is no reason to cool your bowl, think about it that is the part that is going to be on fire, why cool it, you are thinking about the cool tube that illadelph makes, they are filled with a glycol gel that does not freeze and gets very cold, however your gonna pay about 900 buck minimum.the cure for cancer is real
