Trimming Help
in need of some info about trimming!
lemme give u a little info on my situation
Growing jack herer finishes in 9-10 weeks im at day 36 of flowering. using LST and topping i have 8-10 nice colas with a (soon to be) massive main cola on each. This is a soil grow with MG mois cont and top of the line organic ferts from grow/hydro store (helps im using my patients equip 1000w air cooled hydrofarm reflector with agrosun dual arc bulb). They are looking great but wondering if they would do better if i trimmed some of the fan leaves. Some of the bottom ones have turned yellow and fell off with a little pull but havent touched any that didnt look like they weren't about to fall of themselves (which has been maybe 6-10 between 3 plants).
Baisiclly wanna know to trim or not to trim and when!
any input would be great thanks!Hussle420 Reviewed by Hussle420 on . Id trim any big fan leaves that when you move them, the underneath gets more light, don't do crazy, just take off like maybe 20 on each plant. I got a little plant and last time I trimmed I took off like 30 some leaves. Look awesome though, and you said your "patients" equip. so are you a doctor? If so is chronic severe back pain(more than 3 months, its actually been like 2.5 years but yeah) be reason to be prescribed medical mj?

i wouldnt trim anyyything.if its not broken, dont fix it.dead leaves are natural. as long as there not all falling off, let her do her thing.you dont want to stress your plants right now any more than you have 2,they need all there energy for bud and trichome production not trying 2 heal all the wounds inflicted by a scissor happy grower

Too late to do much good now but getting rid of the growth that gets little light will help the rest of the plant that actually gets good light. Get rid of any energy sapping small growth sites and any fan leaves that aren't getting light. Your plants will love you for it.
