Can I use these seeds to grow good stuff?

I have just harvested my first grow, a white widow. Inside the buds when I break them up to smoke are quite a few seeds. Can I use these to grow more decent stuff or is it only seeds that have been pollenated by male plants that can be used. I tried to germinate one for a trial and it's growing no problem but I dont want to waste a few months growing something to chuck in the bin.

Female plants are pollinated by male plants. Only male plants produce pollen unless the plant is hermaphrodite then it will have both male and female flowers, which will pollinate itself. Hermaphrodites are not good. The ratio of male and female seeds under normal circumstances is approx. 50/50 (half of them male, half of them female). If you already have female plants growing at the moment I would take cuttings from it and restart your crop that way; I would store the seeds and keep them for a later time, when you really need them. Do you have male plants in your grow-room? If not, and your plant has produced a few seeds then you've got a hermaphrodite.

I dont have any male plants. I only grew one for a test using a femisied seed that I bought. I had a smoke from the bud and it dosen't seem very potent. Would the fact that you think its a hermaphrodite explain that??

It may of hade a few male flowers do to stress or over feeding it. It only takes one male flower to polinate 100+ female flowers. Also if your interested in tradeing a few beans so your not growing all the same strain, I have a few different strains you may wanna check out.
