Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

I have been play D2LOD for as long as it has been out. I recently just had it downloaded and installed to my computer from my friend. Now for the time that I have played this wonderful game (Only passing by time until D3 comes out :thumbsup the only character that I have chosen was the Barbarian..don't get me wrong when it comes to Barbs I know what to do and not to do..basically the game gets boring because its the same thing over and over again. I was wondering if I could get anyone's feedback possibly with detailed opinions/facts on who the next character I should choose and what to do and not to do with that character, I'm just afraid like that last time I chose a different character that I will have to start over (Very time consuming game, I tried the Druid but I lost interest for good, no disrespect to anyone who is a fan of Druids). I know this game is a pretty long game and there is a lot of work to be done with your character but I'm pretty sure at least a couple of you all on this forum has played this game over and over again just as well. So if anyone can give me some positive feedback on what I should choose for my next character that'd be grand!! :jointsmile:

wow old thread but my favorite game of all time...

Ive also been playing since the game was released... same with diablo 1 and soon to be D3.. Ive gotten multiple toons of every class to 99 ( i know...i played too much).
Sorc is definitely one you should consider. She is easy mass destruction and can teleport with ease ( and without runeword armor). She is my favorite for magic finding.

Haven't played this in a long time, but when i did, amazon was my fav

Always been a fan of ranged attack - usually equip the crossbow throughout the game, but javelins are pretty strong

assassins are cool, but amazon and sorceress totally own

soooo stoked for D3... i think all the new characters look sick so far (especially monks)

Man I played this game so much,I even debated the other day to reinstall it.anxious to see how D3 will be,looks awesome so far.

i have lots of friends who still play everyday on USEAST. Hardcore mode was sweet!

I have a ton of copies of the game still... I used to run multiple copies on multiple comps to make a full game for better xp during solo magic finding runs!
